Stock Market Video - "Reasons to Be Cautiously Optimistic (As Strange as That Seems) - 9/4/11

Hi traders.   Here's the video for the upcoming holiday week.   Thursday and Friday were certainly bearish days with negative technical action all over the place.   However, I do see some reason to be CAUTIOUSLY optimistic going into this week, and it has to do with some of the individual charts I saw in my scans.   None of this will matter if the market doesn't hold right where it is (an absolute must), but check out the video for the stocks that are giving me this cautiously optimistic outlook.

I hope you find the video helpful and informative.   As always, feel free to email me with questions or comments - I enjoy hearing from my readers.  If you like the videos, please take a moment to leave a review on Investimonials and feel free to retweet the links to your friends.  I would appreciate it.

Appreciate the video - good as always.
I don't wanna annoy you more than may be you already are but I can't believe that you didn't take any of the great short setups from the last video - most of them are 5-10% down In my opinion when you have such fantastic setups, taking your chances on them is a must. I was too cautious myself but still shorted DKS and FORM.
I'm not sure about your short term "cautious optimism" because most of those stocks are low volume, low floating stocks - most of the former market leaders are broken down.
Looking at your performance table though, you're better trader than me, so may be you're right
Good luck trading, Ivan

Again, I am adjusting to a new work schedule that doesn't allow me to watch the market much at all other than around lunch and a bit in the afternoon. I do have to get past it and figure out the best way to make it work, but it's been tough.

As for the "optimism", I am not expecting a big rally, but just wanted to point out that I was seeing better charts than I have seen in about a month. Market has to hold right here, however.

Mac: Thanks for the post! Now after the slide in Europe, are you expecting a crash tomorrow? Thanks!

I don't know if I would expect a "crash", but certainly my premise of the weekend video (some potential if the market can hold here) is completely shot. A test of the August lows is now almost a certainty, and probably very soon.
